We envision a future where every student in Washington County Public Schools has access to the educational services they need through a unified, inclusive, and well-supported countywide school district.
Our mission is to serve as a transparent and accessible communication hub, offering detailed information through our website, newsletters, and ongoing dialogue. Our initiative offers concise reports about school board meetings, explanations of board processes and actions, and links to resources, while also maintaining open channels for feedback.
Our goal is to raise community awareness and understanding of the work of the Washington County Board of Education and Washington County Public Schools, while encouraging community participation in shaping the future of the schools.
Rising to Learn has applied for nonprofit status and is currently awaiting our approval.
